With HUNT's new H_Ratchet SGL hub, increased spoke count, and oversized double-sealed cartridge bearings, these wheels deliver dependable performance no matter the weather. The asymmetrical rim profile with a 22mm internal width can accommodate modern road and gravel tires ranging from 25mm to 50mm, providing you with confidence on your rides. Crafted with brass spoke nipples and 28 rear spokes for added durability, these wheels can handle all the challenges of winter riding, from salt and rain to potholes and ruts. Whether you're bikepacking, tackling ultra-long mixed surface routes, or dominating CX courses, our high-specification rims, hubs, and spokes offer durability without sacrificing weight.

Rims

  • Tubeless-ready – designed to work excellently with normal clincher tyres and tubes or tubeless tyres. Tubeless-rim tape and valves included.

Spokes

  • J-bend cold drawn
  • Made from high grade T302 (18/10) stainless steel wire by Sandvik Sweden.
  • Triple butted 2.0-1.8-2.0 (then 2.2 at the head for the patented Pillar Spoke Re-enforcement)
  • 24(F) & 28(R) spokes laced 2 cross front and rear.
  • Black stainless treatment.

Nipples

  • Brass for anti-corrosion resistance.
  • Square body for external adjustment and hex head for easy internal adjustment/tensioning.
  • 12mm length.
  • 14 gauge.
  • Black anodized finish.

Front Hub

  • Forged and CNC’d 6061-T6 heat treated aluminium alloy body.
  • 7075-T6 aluminium alloy axles.
  • Polished anodized black finish with laser graphics.
  • Center-lock disc mount.

Rear Hub

  • HUNT H_Ratchet 36T SGL
  • H_CERAMIK freehub body reinforcement coating provides excellent durability and protects against cassette sprocket damage to the freehub often seen on standard alloy freehub bodies.
  • Ships with Dumonde Tech Pro X freehub grease applied for long service life and contamination resistance.
  • Single 36T Ratchet Ring equals 10° engagement.
  • Forged and CNC’d 6061-T6 heat treated aluminium alloy body.
  • 7075-T6 aluminium alloy axle.
  • Polished anodized black finish with laser graphics.
  • All freehub standards accounted for.

Bearings

Tyre Info

  • HUNT recommends a 25-35mm tyre for best performance, tyre widths between 25mm and 50mm are also safe to use.  
  • Note: best performance is usually gained by using tyre pressures lower than the maximum, you can see our blog post about this, read here. 
  • Tubeless-ready for lower weight and rolling resistance. 
  • You must not exceed the maximum tyre pressure limits set out in the table below or the maximum limit set by your tyre manufacturer if this is lower.
