Strava Ride

Glendale Drive

This is one of our more challenging routes with the most climbing from this meeting location. we will head west then turn North on Lockend road and head south on a fun decent of Glendale Road.

Total distance: 45km
Elevation gain: 455m

Strava Ride

85th Street Finish

This route will take us though some of the more popular roads of the Bearspaw area, we will drop down to 262 and finish our ride up the 85th street climb wich is a challanging climb that gets steeper as you get to the top.

Total distance: 34km
Elevation gain: 333m

Strava Ride

Neighbourhoods

you don't always have to ride in a straight line. we will explore all the quiet roads in the Bearspaw area. in my opinion this is one of the best routes we will do this year with lots of oportunity to regroup and lots of oportunity to have fun. The faster group can let loose and have a little circut race around woodland cres and regroup at the stop sign.

Total distance: 36km
Elevation gain: 297m

Strava Ride

Loops

Another option of staying on the quiet roads in Bearspaw. We will head out and around the Golf course then hit up some of the classic loops off the main roads. we will see some of these roads from different directions so pay attention.

Total distance: 33km
Elevation gain: 304m

FAQ

Where can I find out where the rides are happening?

All ride information is easily accessed through our Team Snap Integration. Notifications are sent out prior to every ride.

What if it is raining?

We will ride rain or shine, there are many times in the early summer when it may be raining Downtown Calgary but not where we are riding.

TCR is a big training facility. Are all the rides hard and mostly elite riders?

Expect the exact opposite of this! We encourage all riders to come out with us on rides and learn the basics of group riding. We will
typically have a group ride at 20 to 25km/h and a group at 25 to 28km/h. Both with guides.

What do I need to join the group rides?

You will just need your membership with TCR and a
Citizen licence from ABA. A drop bar road bike in good working condition plus a helmet and a positive attitude!

FANTASTIC

I could have saved myself 100's of hours reading on the internet by seeing Cory a long time ago.   He is fantastic and the place amazing.  Take the guess work out - get tested!

NELSON DECHANT

BLOWN AWAY

We were here to access medical testing not available in our own province - and I was just blown away by how fantastic this place is. It's listed as a bike shop, and they do sell bikes here but the services go far beyond that.

EMILY CPY

BEST PLACE IN WESTERN CANADA

Fantastic applied sport knowledge - got fitted for my bike here and had my training zones calculated. Best place in Western Canada if you want to make serious improvement while enjoying your training. Cory Fagan is the best in the business.

GRAHAM KENNEDY

GREAT LOCAL SHOP!

I've been using TCR for years, and have had awesome bike fits, very helpful nutrition consults, enjoyed the 'runner's day in the lab', and spent (exhausting) time in the altitude room. Corey and his team provide a range of services for everyone; this includes those just starting out, to more experienced athletes looking to improve.
