Rob Soffer Biography
Rob Soffer is a strength and conditioning coach dedicated to providing personalized training plans that take his client’s schedules, goals, preferences, limitations, and experience in mind. He holds Bachelors of Science in Anatomy, Nutrition and Physical Education. In addition, he is a Certified Exercise Physiologist, High Performance Specialist, NASM – PES – Performance Enhancement Specialist, Move Nat Certified and a CISSN – Certified Sports Nutritionist.
Rob has been a coach for 30 years and has worked with athletes at all levels. This has included strength training for developmental and national level cross country and biathlon teams (ages 12 and up). More recently, his focus has been one-on-one training tailored to help individuals meet their fitness goals, recover from injuries or optimize quality of life as you age.
His programs are individually designed to help the build resilience to the daily pressures of training and offsetting problems arising from modern lifestyles. A program will incorporate complex exercises that entail stabilization and mobilization of appropriate motor patterns resulting in safer more powerful body movement.
On a personal note, Rob loves to cycle, ski, hike, maintain his mobility and strength as he ages and spend quality time with family.
Rob’s passion is to help people improve their lives in the simplest and most realistic way possible. He believes everyone deserves the right to move pain free, have good health and to be happy with themselves inside and out.
