Description:

The Hunt 40 Carbon Disc Wheelset delivers quicker acceleration and lower rotational weight across climbs and rolling terrain. Its 40mm-deep, U-shaped carbon rim balances aerodynamic gains with responsive performance, while wider rim dimensions and an all-new ratchet hub system optimize it for 25mm–35mm tyres on road, all-road, and gravel terrain (ETRTO compatible up to 55mm). Built with Toray T700 unidirectional carbon fiber and V:Absorb resin technology, the wheelset resists impact and vibration while minimizing brittleness. H-Lock tubeless-ready technology enables confident lower-pressure riding. Hand-built Pillar PSR triple-butted spokes reduce weight and increase elasticity for extended longevity. Precision stainless steel cartridge bearings with waterproof grease handle harsh conditions reliably.

Key Features:

Rims 

Unidirectional carbon fibre rim construction, with 3k reinforcement at spoke holes for greater durability. The layup is comprised primarily of Toray T700 fibres which offer high impact resistance and flexibility.

Bearings

Precision stainless steel cartridge bearings with waterproof grease specially selected for the worst weather.

Hubs

The HUNT H_Ratchet 36T SGL hubset provides a 10-degree engagement angle with improved durability, offering increased engagement surface area while using less shell materials relative to our race-proven pawl-based systems.
