Easton's new AX line of bars meet the demands of the growing drop bar adventure and gravel sector. Built upon the acclaimed EA70 and EC70 AX bars, it adopts the same top shape and reach as well as the ergonomic drop shape, but increases drop flare from 4 to 16 degrees. The wider stance in the drops improves grip when tackling rough terrain and long gravel rides. Why 16 degrees? After extensive testing and rider feedback, we found that 16 degrees offered the best combination of maximum flare and easy access to shifters and brakes in both the hoods and drops.
