TCR offers extensive professional mechanical services from our new Kensington location. Our Bike Lab is a small but capable operation, allowing us to focus on high quality maintenance and expert technical consultation to produce results our clients can see, touch and feel in the ride.
Our mechanic Adrian Harding cut his teeth at a road and tri specialty store, and has been in the industry over 10 years. He has overseen service at two shops and has extensive experience with the style and caliber of bicycles ridden by TCR clients.
Our model revolves around an appointment for your bike and follow-up from our staff. Drop it off before your tune-up, pick it up within a couple of days. You won't be without your machine for long and we will close the loop, making sure the reasons you brought it in have been resolved.

- Adjust derailleurs and examine cabling

- Inspect, clean, and lubricate all appropriate

- Ensure bolts are fastened appropriately
- $60 + GST
Performance Tune-up:
- Adjust derailleurs and examine cabling
- Adjust brakes and examine cabling
- Examine frame for wear and safety
- Ensure bolts are fastened appropriately
- Remove drive train components for thorough cleaning as needed
- Inspect, clean, and lubricate all appropriate components
- Inspect hubs, bottom bracket, tires, and headset for issues
- True both wheels (minor)
- Includes the installation of any parts purchased at TCR (excluding bar wrap)
- $90 + GST
Professional Race Tune-up:
- Adjust derailleurs and examine cabling
- Adjust brakes and examine cabling
- Examine frame for wear and safety
- Ensure bolts are fastened appropriately
- Remove all drive train components for thorough cleaning
- Inspect, clean, and lubricate all appropriate components
- Overhaul both hubs (includes labour to press bearings)
- Overhaul headset
- True both wheels (major)
- Wrap bar (excludes cost of bar wrap)
- Clean and polish frame
- Includes the installation of any parts purchased at TCR
- $200 + GST
