While the foundation of all TCR Sport Lab programs is based upon scientific testing and training, we also acknowledge that there is an "art" to sport. Our group programs involve the combination of lab and field testing so that both you and your coaches know your capabilities, training focus and what needs to be worked on from the very outset. TCR coaches will be there to guide you through each and every facet of your program. Our goal is simply to help you learn, be the best you can absolutely be and have fun at the same time! We offer the following programs
All of TCR's Cycle Classes are Power Based programs with top coaches in an inviting environment. This is our 5th year of running Computrainer Indoor Cycling Classes. All of our classes use Power (watts) as the key cycling gauge. You will virtually ride courses from around the world, do individual time trials, group intervals and of course have some fun!
SPORT PROGRAM – Climbing Camp New for 2013, we have an 8 week Computrainer session with the focus on developing more power for the hills. Weeks 1-5 will include Specific power intervals ranging from 3 seconds to 3 minutes over the 90 min spin class. Weeks 6-8 will focus developing sustainable power for long hill climbs.
Participants will enter the outdoor season ready to climb hills!

Past participants can expect the SPORT program to be similar to previous years, but with less focus on high intensity intervals, and geared toward a wider range of cyclists.
*Individualization is done by adjusting the set body weight and/or Threshold power.
RACE PROGRAM – LACTATE Spring Camp Sport Science put into action! New for 2013, we have an 8 week Computrainer session with blood lactate testing.
For the first 6 weeks, a lactate sample will be taken from each rider at varying workloads to develop a individual “lactate curve” for Threshold identification. Each participant will receive an individual analysis report of their Lactate Threshold results. Weeks 7 and 8 will focus on testing the lactate curve with time trial efforts. Participants will then go into the outdoor season with accurate power and racing values.

NEW for 2012-13. SPIN RIGHT – Spring Prep An open to public program for beginner level cyclists. “Spin Right” is part of the new series of proper training on TCR’s Computrainer Power system.
Eight Colnago Road bikes are again provided for use if participants do not yet have a road bike. This is a great way to get into road bike training without having to worry about purchasing a new bike. Extra time will be spent of technique as well as conditioning the cardiovascular system in preparation for riding outside in May.

NEW for 2012-13. An open to public spin program for beginner to experienced cyclists and triathletes. The program is designed for summer Gran Fondo's or similar long event rides. Participants will virtually ride portions of popular Gran Fondo courses from around the world. Program duration is 120 min and intended to be more aerobic than the CT Race or Sport classes.
Space is limited and be offered on a first come, first serve basis.
*5% discount for individuals registering for more than one class per week.
** $30 charge for individuals who do not have the Computrainer Cadence Assembly.
Our policy regarding missed classes has changed. In the event of a missed class, participants are allowed to show up to a class other than one they are registered for, for a maximum of one class per program block. When making up for a missed class, space is allotted on a first-come-first-served basis, and is never guaranteed. Make ups can only be redeemed within the time-frame of the program block in which the classed was missed.
Installment payments will be subject to a $5.00 administration fee per transaction. Refunds will be subject to a 15% administration fee prior to the commencement of the program. No refunds will be given after the start of the program. TCR is not responsible for missed classes.
