TCR is happy to announce we are now offering our triathlon programs at Mount Royal University (MRU). Beginning in October 2012, TCR will be offering Triathlon and Run programs at MRU.
Our new Swim Right | Spin Right| Run Right programs are for athletes of all abilities who want to improve technique without comprising performance. We have been able to secure prime times for our swim, triathlon, bike and run programs at MRU's world-class facilities.
A new exercise physiologist formerly at the Canadian Sport Centre - Calgary, John Sasso, will be overseeing and providing new energy to these programs. We aim to attract new participants as well as continue to satisfy our past MRU clients. Check out the schedule for our new offerings.
Join any time; the fee will be pro-rated where space is available.
30% off for MRU Students and 20% off for MRU employees. Applicable for TCR programs at MRU only.

At four times the density of air, the ability to move quickly through the water stems from moving efficiently through the water. Within TCR's training philosophy, blending the art of coaching and the science of training, the Swim Right program is an adult swim program, open to the public and geared towards Beginner, Masters and Triathlete swimmers. Each 60min class will focus on building your swim fitness, while you perfect your technique.
TCR Sport Lab boasts some of the most professional and experienced coaches in western Canada. Two dedicated TCR swim coaches will be on deck with Lanes 1 & 2 geared for Beginners and Lanes 3 & 4 intended for Intermediate and Experienced swimmers. Each workout is geared to build upon the last and optimize your biomechanical efficiency, preparing you for sustainable success.
Beginners must be able to swim at least 100m (4 lengths) continuously as this is not a learn-to-swim program. Participants should bring their own goggles, water bottle and have appropriate swim attire (no beach shorts), while Kickboards and Pull-buoys are provided. Fins are a recommended purchase, but not necessary.
Access to the Aquatic Centre is through the Recreation Customer Service Centre, ground level.
